Ticket collecting is unquestionably the hottest segment in sports collecting over the past year. With advanced collectors scurrying to put tickets in their collection, a look at the 10 highest paid prices for tickets shows that all 10 occurred since the beginning of the past year - with the top 3 occurring just this past month. Jackie Robinson's and Michel Jordan's debut tickets each brought over $450,000 in a recent sale, and the day before this auction Golden Age officially announced our private sale of a 1934 Masters Tournament ticket for a world record $600,000!

In this auction, we have one of the greatest Tiger Woods tickets in existence. Ignore the ticket collecting at your own peril, as we are extremely bullish in the market segment. We are particularly high on the future grown of early Tiger Woods tickets like the offered ticket.

This is a scarce original ticket from Tiger Woods' first ever PGA Tour appearance as a teanager at the 1992 Nissan Open at Riviera. Somehow, the original attendee of the 1992 Nissan Open had the foresight to get his ticket autographed by a 140 pound 16 year old kid making his first start at a PGA Tour event! It's hard to imagine another 1992 Nissan Open ticket signed at the event by Tiger Woods ever surfacing in the hobby.

This Tiger Woods 1st PGA Tournament ticket is authenticated and slabbed by PSA as Authentic. PSA has also authenticated the teenage autograph of Tiger Woods on the bottom left. Though faint, it's existence puts this ticket in the upper echelon of Tiger Woods tickets and the scorching hot category of "debut" ticket stubs. The ticket is also signed at top by Fred Couples in black sharpie.
