Offered here is a circa 1915-1920 Lewis Anderson patent “cork center” putter by Spalding. According to Jeff Ellis, "[i]n clubmaking, cork is a material normally only seen on grips. This club is the primary exception to that rule and has a cork center inside a brass head. The public perceived it as a gimmick club and it was not popular and therefore very rare to find today." Very good condition.
