This Dinner Program is from the 1929 Ryder Cup, which pitted the Walter Hagen-led American Squad against George Duncan's British Team. Walter Hagen was not only Captain, but also participated alongside a seemingly stacked team of Horton Smith, Gene Sarazen, Johnny Farrell, and multiple other Major Champions. Despite that immense talent, they still lost to a worthy British squad including Henry Cotton, Abe Mitchell, Percy Allis, and others. 

It is difficult to explain the scarcity of items from the 2nd playing of the Ryder Cup, as no tickets or tournament programs are known to exist. The offered program is among the finest relics from this 1929 Ryder Cup at Moortown Golf Club in Leeds, England.
