We're ready to shout it from the rooftops - certified Type 1 golf photographs are the most under appreciated (and undervalued) golf collectible. Expect Type 1 photos to form into their own collecting category in the next year or two, with prices soaring as a result.

Offered here is a rare original Type 1 photograph from the first-ever Masters Tournament. In this wide shot of the course, Walter Hagen can be seen teeing off on Augusta National's 8th hole during Saturday's 3rd Round. Keep in mind that the 8th hole in 1934 is the 17th hole today. The 1934 Augusta National Invitation Tournament is the only "Masters Tournament" to be competed with the reversed hole configuration. This photograph is one of the few known photos that provide us with an early look at the Augusta National course in 1934 - and look how rough and incomplete it looks!

This 8"x10" photo is in exceptional condition. Quite significantly, it has been authenticated and encapsulated by PSA as a Type 1 photo.
