Lot Description  

The 1981 Donruss Jack Nicklaus card is often regarded as the Rookie Card of the Golden Bear. But a decade earlier a rare card was produced of Jack Nicklaus in the 1971 Barratt & Co Ltd "Famous Sportsmen" set. Only 377 copies of this true Rookie Card of Jack Nicklaus have ever been graded by PSA - compared to almost 3,600 copies of Jack Nicklaus' 1981 Donruss Rookie Card.
