Lot Description  

This is an original circa 1900-1905 Vaile & Ayres patent "swan neck" putter. According to The Clubmaker's Art, V&A received this patent in 1895, and began marketing their unusual swan neck clubs immediately. This putter is stamped SD&C New York Hand Forged Putter, Made in London. Very good condition.
