This was a photograph that we had to see to believe. Offered here is a truly historic photograph from the opening of Augusta National Golf Club in January 1933. The significance of that event, combined with the artistic nature of these photo, and the quality of the photograph itself, should in our opinion make this among the most celebrated golf photographs in the collecting hobby. 

According to the phenomenal press slug on the reverse, this depicts golfers and caddies on Augusta's 4th tee box (now the famous 13th hole - Augusta's 9s were reversed at the time). The slug also discusses Bobby Jones' involvement in the construction process, and his collaboration with Alister MacKenzie.
