Presented here is a 1919 First Edition of Picture Analysis Of Golf Strokes by four-time Major Champion James M. “Long Jim” Barnes.

Barnes was a terrific, but under publicized champion from the early 1900s, accomplishing a great deal in a short 10-year span. He won the first two PGA Championships to ever be played, an Open Championship, as well as the 1921 US Open Championship, which he won by 9 shots - a record not broken until Tiger Woods came to Pebble Beach in 2000.  Picture Analysis of Golf Strokes was one of two very collectible books penned by Barnes and it contains 252 total pages loaded with photos. This particular copy shows some cover discoloration, but should be classified in overall good condition.
