No official Masters Tournament program was produced by Augusta National after the 1935 tournament all the way through the 1980s. Since no official program was made, a local Masters Week program was produced for many years. We previously believed that these unofficial programs began in 1962, as that was the earliest copy we'd ever encountered. Well, offered here is an original copy of Masters Week 1961. This unofficial program is filled with Masters information, local advertisements, and a map of Augusta National Golf Club.

Since there was no Masters program at the time, this served as an unofficial program for the 1961 Masters. Quite significantly, 1961 was also the first year that a "badge" was issued for the Masters Tournament.
