Offered here is a circa early 1900s George Charles vulcanite and celluloid covered wood brassie. This club has a wood head encased in black vulcanite. The club's face is covered in white celluloid with cross-hatched markings. Overall very good condition.   

This club originates from the famed Jeff Ellis Collection, and this exact club was featured in his books The Clubmaker's Art (TCA 1, p. 305; TCA 2, p. 369). This club has not reached the collector market since its sale at the 2007 Sotheby's auction of the Jeff Ellis Collection.
