Take a look at this beauty! All swan neck clubs are a sight to behold, but this is a stunner. This is a circa 1895 Ayres & Vaile patent swan neck putter. Since F&A had the patent on swan necks, they often sold these clubheads to other clubmakers to stamp and finish. But this example is stamped by P.A. Vaile and F.H. Ayres, and is stamped "The P.A. Vaile Patent," which was awarded to them in 1895. Excellent condition.
